Pain, Crystal and Bone

I made this piece as an experiment in 3D, in response to considering my pain associated with degenerated muscle tissue around a joint. I wanted to frame the experience in relation to how I view the body as part of the earth, as mineralogical. Imagining radiating pain both as crystal growth, and as regenerating and growing structure, solid and soft tissue.
